The Firm has its head office located in Nairobi, (House No. 232 East Church Road, off Rhapta Road-Westlands). It has Branch Offices in Mombasa and Meru and it aims to grow the practice countrywide by promoting strategic distribution of legal services which involves bringing legal services to the client’s doorstep. The Firm also aims to grow the practice in Africa and beyond.

The Firm’s founding partner, Ms. Jane Makena Kirimi, has practiced for nine (9) years and boasts a wealth of knowledge and experience in diverse areas of law. Before Ms. Makena established the Firm in 2018, she was the Managing Partner at the Firm of Sichangi Partners Advocates and before her promotion to Managing Partner she headed the Coast Region Branch of that firm. She also headed and oversaw various departments at different times in the Firm of Sichangi, including the Property and Real Estate Department, the Banking and Finance Department and the Corporate & Commercial Department. Ms. Makena has also practiced as a Senior Associate in the Property and Commercial Departments in the Firm of MMC ASAFO a premier firm where she gained vast expertise in the Property and Commercial practice. Ms. Makena has experience both in the practice of law and in leadership and management which expertise place her at an excellent position in steering the vision of the Firm. She is a patent and trade mark agent, a commissioner for oaths and a notary public. Additionally, she has trained and attained relevant certification in legal audit and compliance. Beyond the Firm, she sits and serves as a board member in various public and nonprofit organizations.

Ms. Ann Nkatha Muriuki before joining the Firm as a partner, served both in the private and public sectors. She worked as a Principal Legal Officer at the Tharaka Nithi County Government. Ann is a Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) with accounting and auditing skills. Ann’s experience and professional skills qualify her in guiding the Firm towards offering exemplary services in the corporate and commercial, legal audit and compliance, legislative drafting and policy formulations practise areas and among other areas of law.

The Firm’s litigation partner, Mr. Nathaniel Kanyi Mwangi, has loads of experience as a litigator having successfully represented various individual and corporate clients before the lower and superior courts as well as tribunals including the alternative dispute resolution tribunals. Additionally, Mr. Kanyi has worked for numerous government and non-governmental organizations such as Refugee Consortium of Kenya, Department of Refugee affairs- Ministry of Interior & Coordination of National Government, Norwegian Refugee Council and over the years he has closely collaborated with organizations such as UNHCR, and Save the Children. He is therefore greatly involved by the Firm in handling matters relating to NGOs.
